We’re glad you are visiting the Kings Ridge Preparatory Academy website. We know you’ll find lots to be impressed about here at our school. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona, and we serve students in fifth through eighth grade. Our website will help you stay informed about what great things are happening here at Kings Ridge. We hope you’ll check out our handy calendar of events, and get answers to the most commonly asked questions about our school’s policies and procedures. Also, be sure and check out the many helpful links that we have included for students, parents, and teachers. A Message from Our Principal Dear Kings Ridge Families, Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you had a summer full of fun and excitement with a little time to rest and refresh. We are so excited to welcome our new students, as well as our returning students, to the new school year. We have some exciting things planned out that will certainly make this a great year. I want to begin by letting you know, we take the health and safety of our students seriously. Ensuring our school is a safe place to be is a top priority for the entire Kings Ridge staff. We want our students to feel welcome and safe. As we continue to move forward out of the pandemic, we will continue to encourage students to wash hands and sanitize often. Masks are not required; however, students are more than welcome to wear masks if they feel more comfortable or families choose to continue with wearing masks. We certainly want to encourage good habits for keeping our students healthy on and off campus. School begins July 31 for all students. We will follow our full day schedule for the first three weeks of school. Our first half day Wednesday will be August 16, with early release at 12:30 p.m. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with our district calendar of important dates and schedule changes. Here are some important dates for the start of the school year: July 27 - Meet the Teacher Night from 4:00–6:30 p.m. Rapido Screen Printing will be onsite during meet the teacher night for all of your school uniform needs. Cash is preferred. July 31 - First day of school! Remember, no students may be on campus before 7:45 a.m. Our staff is not available for student supervision before 7:35 a.m. August 1 and 3: Rapido Screen Printing is on campus from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Cash is preferred. August 5 - School Picture Day! Thank you for continued support of Kings Ridge. It takes a village to ensure success of our school and our students. We certainly can’t do this alone. We appreciate our families for being part of our team to ensure students have a successful school year. So again, thank you for being part of our team and making us part of your village. Please stop by and say hello. We appreciate getting to know our families. Consider joining us for our donuts with grownups events. We look forward to seeing you at the many campus events where we get to showcase our students.
